Big Grats Mario & Yannick :daumenrauf:

It was really my intention to run McHonda today, because I wanted to use it in the race right after this on Zandy in UKGPL...but I simply couldn't get setup stable here on Spa.
Also had to change some of the old Eagle setups & it worked much better...Pole ;)

Great exciting race, from start to finish...unfortunately I got some air to MW & began to relax a little...KABOOM, engine went up in smoke 3 laps before finish, here I said a lot of words I don't want to translate :motz: MW went past when I used the S-R & YV had it almost too easy against my heavy car ;)

A little sin, MW & YV was the only 2 I met throughout the race, but on the other hand, well I not met more because, those I met...they passed

Thx Again for a fun day here at EOLC :prost:

The main objective for was to boost my outdated PB which was quite off in contrast to my other times (3:18).

Position did not matter much, but it was fun to be with the front runners today. Was just off the pace but still had a fun fight with Pelle in the end of the race.

In the end, the PB mattered most to me and I managed to get 2.8 seconds of my old PB. That works fo me. Seond place is a nice bonus.

Thx for racing.

Puuh, not training and Head somewhere else in topics made this race a no go for me.

I tried to push a hundred year old ferrari time, but i lost the field already in Lap 2 and my motivation was gone :kotz:
Grats to the finishers, great pace.

After Honda's disaster in Barcelona testing, I took more reliable Brabham. For the first time I ran with a low-top-speed car here. It took some time to beat my BRM time.
In the end I managed to set a very clean and fast lap in qualifiyng, narrowly beating Harald with the same car, so I expected some fun in the race.
My start was perfect, I overtook David's Eagle and gained few seconds to Harald with Greg. I felt I had this small margin under control and was driving rather carefully, especially in Masta. One mistake can ruin the whole race here.
But then on lap 9 or 10 I made a small mistake and saw a red car in my mirrors and pribluda indicated that Greg found finally the fifth gear. He was closing really fast and I had to switch to full qualifying mode before lap 12. I set best sector 1 and my best race lap, but Greg was still faster. On penultimate lap 13 I was just slightly slower than in Q, Greg slightly faster again, but my margin of 2 second on the last lap was promising. But Eau Rouge was not ideal and I made a big mistake in Stavelot, when I went on throttle to early a had to lift off. Before Blanchimont Greg was already in my slip stream and then I went a bit wide in Blanchimont and he got just behind my gearbox. I had to take a defensive line in La Source and finish by 0.2s the 4th. Not a podium but many precious points :champagner:
If I had taken Honda, I would have probably finished behind Harald, so good choice
