Hi all,
Harry and I started at the back of the grid. I'm sorry for that.
The gridding tool has a limitation I wasn't aware of. The solution is: don't use a space in the first name of your driver's name (when the tool is going to be used).
My first name was "David 55". This won't work.
I didn't know that. First name "Harry 55" didn't work either. "Harry55" or "David55" as first names will work. "Harry" as first name and "55" as last name will work.
After reading your posts I decided to give some details.

Daher wusste ich nicht wann es losgeht.
During the quali I put all the names in grid.txt in the right order. When gplgridding doesn't find a driver (this happened to Harry and me this time) the program always puts these drivers at the very back of the grid. There were many empty spots in front of us. This is the way gplgridding works. When I spell a name incorrectly in grid.txt, it will put a driver at the back too.
When I noticed there was something wrong (a "Fahrer nicht gefunden"
message in the gplgridding window) I chatted something like: "gplgridding is not perfect. I couldn't put Harry 55 in front of me on the grid." Maybe I should have written: "Can't put Harry 55 on the grid. He must change his name and then we restart". But at that moment I didn't realize the flagman would be out of his sight.
When this "space error" happens during the Lange Ringnacht on 30 December, I'll ask the driver involved to change his name in gpl. That will solve it
Ginetto made driving at Targa Florio possible. Thank you.
Congratulations with your world record, Claudio
