Hi all,

This is the registration thread of the Long Night of the Ring. We meet at 19:00h CET on 30 December 2018 in the EOLC chatroom of iGOR.
At Nürburgring, we'll drive 7 races of 3 laps each (INT mode), followed by a Grand Prix of 15 laps (PRO mode).

The following drivers already registered

The advantages of registering are:

1. It will save time on the night itself, because if I have all the names, I can prepare the complete gridding file (grid.txt) beforehand. This file contains the names of the drivers and determines the starting grid order. We use a reversed grid, which is determented by the estimated GPL rank (for race 1) and the standings (for race 2 to race 7).

2. If we have more than 19 drivers and the grid is full, we'll try to make sure that registered drivers will have a spot on the grid

3. You may revoke your registration any time

BTW. Don't use a space in your first name, because the gridding tool cannot handle that. It will place you at the back of the grid if you do For example don't use "David 67" as a first name. A space in your last name is no problem.

Hi all, after several years i will race the ringnacht with you again. My nickname for racing is mannex86. I will drive with the Lotus, - my lap times are up to date 8.45 minutes. At the moment i´m training and racing with the Brabham, but it is probably to late for fast and save driving!?

Is it nessesary to change the registration "grid" in the ini to take part in the ringnacht? Do i have to do anything else to participate in the ringnacht?
