Not sure I'll make this one. I slipped and fell and have injured my knee and it's still quite painful when trying to haul the Brabham around here, so I've not had any chance to do any meaningful practice at all and I'm several seconds off the back of the pack with little likelihood that I can run the full distance.. If I do manage to race I'll keep out of everyone's way.

Re: Road Amerika - 17th October - Round11
Sometimes race fever has a pain-relieving effect.
By the way, I have since been able to remove this from the server when repairing a missing wheel. There really is a mistake.
It doesn't seem to occur with normal ShiftR (in INT mode), but it does when repairing a wheel in the pit lane. This is strange, as ShiftR is triggered internally (with minor differences such as the car remaining in place).
It is an odyssey.
I had noticed that the PC was working normally with another graphics card GeForce 9500 GS in the same PCI slot. From this I concluded that the actual GTX1050Ti graphics card was defective and ordered a new similar one (GTX1650). Unfortunately, the PC did not work with this one.
So it looks as if it is not the graphics card that is defective.
I have now returned the new graphics card and am using the 9500 GS.
At Road America I have frame drops before Canada Corner, even with reduced graphics settings. Now I have programmed my steering wheel buttons so that I can turn Pribluda on and off while driving. Less Pribluda definitely reduces the judder a bit.
I'll have to wait until tomorrow to see how it works when other drivers are in my field of vision.

My problems are not completely solved yet, but only partially.& Olaf I guess recovered from your hardware misfortunes

Thanks Tago! I managed to put together a good clean lap which was a new pb. In training mode, I managed to improve a bit afterwards. The Ferrari can perform well on some tracks and in any case it's nice to get it done. My time can still be beaten before the race.
Hope it works out as well as possible, John and Olaf

Apologies if I had anything to do with your demise Olaf. I know we had a slow speed contact at T5 (End of Moraine Sweep). Then I came across you on the entry into "Hurry Downs" sideways across the track. So if I had anything do do with it I'm sorry.
Well, I got a lot further than I expected and had some great racing. Then, I think it was around lap 22? and I missed my braking point into Canada Corner and got flipped onto my roof, race over. Pure driver error, until that point I didn't notice any issues with pain from my leg, I guess "Race Adrenalin" does wonders as an anesthetic.
