Sorry to hear John, hope you get the feeling back at Beal Valley.
Qual
A bit messy qualifying season with a lot of mistakes, but managed to get a good lap in towards the end.
Race
A good start and managed to hold off John in to turn 1.
From there on in it was all about not making a mistake and managing the tires.
Congratulations to Rainer and Bjørn for joining me on the podium.
See you all at Beal Valley

Re: Imola - 20th of March - Round 3
Congratulations to André for the win and Rainer for position 2!
The testing went perhaps better than usual, but with a lot of wear on the rear wheels. Further testing with more careful acceleration out of the corners reduced the wear considerably. That meant I chose to start with petrol for the whole race. I hoped not to have to pit.
Good fight from the start in position 3, I was prepared to have to bet in the first few laps. John in position 2 went out and had problems afterwards, it was not deserved. Then I started to struggle when the grip failed. I lost pace and then Olaf was able to pass. I was behind with a reasonable distance for a few laps until he made a mistake. After that I was alone for a while, but I missed and came out on the grass several times, losing time. Rainer reached me and passed.
I also had a 360 under braking but reached the finish with a good experience. It was exciting driving; I am very happy to get on the podium. Too bad Seb did not make it to the start. New opportunities for everyone at Beal Valley. An incredible track, see you there.
Thanks all for the race!

Re: Imola - 20th of March - Round 3
Yesterday I watched the first half of our livestream. I realised that this race - at least until the pit stop - should have been fun for me (I could at least duel with Rainer and Björn until then) ... but it wasn't..
I was still in a good mood during practice. I find Imola very interesting. And all six suspects in this league were reliably at the start, i.e. at the start in qualifying.
Unfortunately, Seb was missing from the starting grid. Maybe it was a technical problem? In any case, there were only five of us left.
I thought about the nuclear power stations. There is no chain reaction below the critical mass. Next thought: Where is our critical mass in a race?
After a few laps, I realised that John was no longer listed in Pribluda. There were only four of us left. My mood was completely in the cellar after that.
The idea was that we would race in INT mode so that we wouldn't fall below critical mass. Unfortunately, it didn't work this time. Apart from the ‘thin air in the race’, it's also bad for the classification (you can tell by the fact that I'm no longer last, although I was always last at the finish).
