P.S: Someone posted in the new SRMZ forum that he wanted to come along for the ride. Unfortunately, I only saw his PM after the race.
A Sepp who writes in German. Does anyone know who that is?

Testing: Knows the track, but many braking points had to be found the hard way. Tire wear was enormous, out-lap and one lap to set a time, then it was usually done.
PreQual: Set early and held up well for me.
Qual: Had nice laps with progression towards the end.
Race: The starting field was disciplined, merging to the ideal track before the fast turns went well. Had good competition with Seb from the beginning. André, however, had a problem and went into the pit after the first lap, so I was suddenly first. I had chosen a one-stop strategy based on my experience during testing and thus had the opportunity to maintain a pace to defend the position without having to save on tyres. Seb had an accident and there was more distance behind.
It turned out to be less tire wear than expected. In the pit stop I lost a few seconds compared to a good stop, but came out with a good margin, that was also unexpected. In the Pribluda table I noticed that the order shifted several times, so I realized that something happened in the field. I could adjust the pace a little as the gap was large, but for a period I could quickly be caught up, but then something happened, and the gap increased again. With a steady pace I did not have overheating or wear to deal with throughout the race.
Congratulations John and André for joining me on the podium.
Thanks so much for the race and the competition. See you all at the next race.
