What can I say but wow, my first podium. I have to be honest and say I don't think I was any faster than normal, just everyone getting used to new cars. I'll happily take it though.
A very busy race, which was great. Also can't believe I qualified third too. Got a good start and going three wide down the straight was fun but when Bjoern's back end twitched I leapt out of the way and spun on the grass. Good job too, otherwise I'd have been caught up in the melee into three. After that I just got my head down.
I think everyone had a go at me except Andre, hopefully I drove fairly? Please tell me if I caused anyone any problems.
Andre, for future reference, when you were coming up to lap me were you diving up the inside or were you happy to follow me through and get me on the straight? Obviously this does not apply if you or anybody else are in close combat, in which case I'd get out of the way as soon as possible.
Just asking because it makes the decision clearer to stay wide or just go as fast as I can to minimise the time loss.
The same question applies to all of you guys, so I welcome your opinions.
One final question...... Andre, how much longer would it have taken to lap yourself?
