Hello André: Here is a track.ini with wider grid:
http://race.eolc.de/Olaf_Lehmann/trackiniALBI.zip

@Andre and all: We have a problem, Housten. I noticed a few weeks ago that necessarily servers and all clients must have the same pitstall values in track.ini (please don't confuse: not the startgrid values, I mean the pitstall values). Otherwise drivers are taken from gpl out of the race after about 20s (that means when you change tyres and repair you end up in the control centre...so your race will be over).
Usually all drivers have the same values in the track.ini. In Albi, however, this does not seem to be the case. I notice this because the pit stop board is displayed in front of me after boarding the track.
The values in my track.ini are these:

[ pit_lane_0 ]
lane_on_right = 1 ; 0 if lane on left, 1 if on right
lane_has_wall = 0 ; 0 if no pit wall, 1 if pit wall exists
lane_bounds_dlong = 3400.0 20.0 ; start/end dlong of the pit lane
lane_bounds_dlat = -10.0 -1.0 ; start/end dlat of the pit lane
pit_board = -14.0 55.0 -100.0 100.0 ; dlat of board, dlong of board, dlong LOS start, dlong LOS end

stall_0 = 3630.0 -8.0
stall_1 = 3620.0 -8.0
stall_2 = 3610.0 -8.0
stall_3 = 3600.0 -8.0
stall_4 = 3590.0 -8.0
stall_5 = 3580.0 -8.0
stall_6 = 3570.0 -8.0
stall_7 = 3560.0 -8.0
stall_8 = 3550.0 -8.0
stall_9 = 3540.0 -8.0
stall_10 = 3530.0 -8.0
stall_11 = 3520.0 -8.0
stall_12 = 3510.0 -8.0
stall_13 = 3500.0 -8.0
stall_14 = 3490.0 -8.0
stall_15 = 3480.0 -8.0
stall_16 = 3470.0 -8.0
stall_17 = 3460.0 -8.0
stall_18 = 3450.0 -8.0
stall_19 = 3440.0 -8.0

Is it possible that there are other values in the server track.ini?

If so, the easiest way would be to install my track.ini on the server and all drivers would have to copy this track.ini into their track folder.

I will try to change the patch so that the clients use the values from the server, so that we are on the safe side in the future. But that is difficult - if I succeed at all.
Until then, it's always a matter of watching out whether the pitstall panel is placed in a strange place after joining and maybe posting the values here that everybody can compare.
In most cases all have the same values, but it seems not in every case. Some tracks are linked in different places with different values it seems.

BR Olaf

P.S.: This problem was probably also the cause of Björn being taken out by gpl in a race last year.

Again having health problems last week, probably will miss Albi, as I need another week to recover. So if i miss this event ot has nothing to do with not wanting to serve the penalty ;)

Sorry to hear about your health issues Robert. Rest up and regain your strength.

There is no penalty to be served btw. It was added on the race report and youve been ducked two license points. So its done.

Wishing you a good recovery Robert!

Here are a lot of updates on this track, surprisingly I would say. I had the wrong track.ini, so other installations may also have the same error (pit-board has not changed). The correct one that Olaf refers to matches with “Albi improved AI”, February 21, 2017, Albi67 AI.zip (at Fastlane, hope everyone has found this database).

Hi All.

Hi Robert, here's wishing you a speedy recovery. My thought's are with you. If you are watching, I'm sure we'll try to put on a good show for you :daumenrauf:

Hi Olaf, I hope this adds to the understanding, I have the same entries as you, but no AI patch. This was the same installer as I used for the race a couple of years ago, but a recent fresh install.

Cheers all :daumenrauf:
Seb.

Thanks guys, appreciate it. It's not fun dealing with the pain. It takes also a big toll on me energy management. But it's going better day by day, and hopefull these pain attacks keep away for a while. 2023 has been very tough so far healthwise.

I suppose I understood the penalty wrong. I'm not throwing the door totally shut, but most likely will skip all upcoming 3 leagueraces i have this week. Unless I feel good enough by Thursday...

Hi all,

We should all download the track.ini posted by Olaf earlier in this thread, and use that both on the server and on clients.
