Boreham - R13 12.10.23

Post by snafu » 29 Sep 2023, 13:57

Hi All, sorry for the early post..

Does anyone have a fix to remove the pit people at Boreham? I'm finding it very hit and miss as far as finding my pit box is concerned. ?(

Also do we know how many laps for the race?

Thanks in advance

I don't really have time for anything at the moment....
How do I eliminate the people in the pit stalls John?

Hi Olaf,
I do not see how to add an attachment to post, is it not possible?

Here hopefully is a dropbox link.

There are one or two stragglers who refuse to vacate the area, but this will get rid of most of them.

Just unzip directly into the Boreham folder.

Attention:

I have seen the pitstallboards are very late to see. I think you all should edit this line in your track.ini:
lane_bounds_dlat = -11.0 -1.50 ; start/end dlat of the pit lane
The bold value is the changed value.

Qual
An ok qualifying session form me. Had hoped to see a new PB. Rainer was unbeatable in the Eagle.

Race
An okey start. Tim and Rainer already pulled away on the second lap. In general my first stint was not good. And as I spun on the exit of Tower Bend John passed me and opened up the gap before I pitted already on lap 19.

My pitstop was quite fast and my outlap and the following 2 laps were quite good. So I managed to get past John again as he was exiting the pit line.

My second stint was better, more consistent and less mistakes. So I managed to hold John off, but it was close up until he made a mistake with few laps to go.

Tim was in a class of his own today.

Congratulations to Tim for a great win, and to John for joining us on the podium.
