VIR - 26th October - Round 14
I don't see the practice server listed on Igor or Vroc.

track.ini with wider grid and more space between pitstalls:

Re: VIR - 26th October - Round 14
I downloaded the track67.ini and tried it out on the server.
I noticed I was dropped into the pits someway ahead of the pit board (Which I could see in my mirrors). New tyres etc were available after a few laps when I stopped where the pitboard indicated, but I'm concerned about my problem might be related to something different I need to be aware of?
Thanks in advance

Re: VIR - 26th October - Round 14
Good observation, John!
The fact that you see the pitstall board in a different place after the first boarding of the track is due to the fact that another trackini is used on the server.
Only after you have driven a few metres will the values from your trackini be replaced by the values of the server track.ini. At the latest when you have completed a lap, your pitstall board will appear in the correct place. So that's not really a problem.
In generally you do not need to change your track.ini. Only rarely if the track builders have set the wrong lane_bounds_dlat values (then the pitstallboard will not appear).
The only thing you have to pay attention to is to drive in the qualifying in any case (a few metres are enough). Even if you leave the server for some reason and join again, you have to drive again after that in the qualifying.

Thanks Olaf,
I was concerned because for Boreham you posted a replacement track.ini whereas for VIR you have posted a track67.ini
I had problems at Boreham where I couldn't get the patch to work so had to log off, replace with my original and log back on again to get it to function correctly.

I post the track.inis for André, for the server.
Only when I write something with lane_bounds_dlat values you should change this line.
Otherwise it`s not necessary to change the track.ini for clients.
I don't think your problems has anything to do with track.ini.
BR Olaf

Rename to track.ini, track67.ini is for 67-extra mod I think, but can’t easy find this documentation to be sure, not wrong to use track.ini anyway. (backup the old ini for example like track-2023-10-23.ini)

I have made the experience that changes in track.ini have no effect if there is a track67.ini in the folder.
Therefore in this case I always post the track67.ini.
I always try out the start grids offline...

Re: VIR - 26th October - Round 14
I find this track simply wonderful. Very dirty off the tarmac, which makes it very appealing - but difficult - in combination with dgp. Unfortunately I'm out of shape at the moment and have a cold to boot...Not a good combination.
