Sorry to hear John, hope you get the feeling back at Beal Valley.

Qual
A bit messy qualifying season with a lot of mistakes, but managed to get a good lap in towards the end.

Race
A good start and managed to hold off John in to turn 1.

From there on in it was all about not making a mistake and managing the tires.

Congratulations to Rainer and Bjørn for joining me on the podium.

See you all at Beal Valley :-)

Congratulations to André for the win and Rainer for position 2! :daumenrauf:

The testing went perhaps better than usual, but with a lot of wear on the rear wheels. Further testing with more careful acceleration out of the corners reduced the wear considerably. That meant I chose to start with petrol for the whole race. I hoped not to have to pit.

Good fight from the start in position 3, I was prepared to have to bet in the first few laps. John in position 2 went out and had problems afterwards, it was not deserved. Then I started to struggle when the grip failed. I lost pace and then Olaf was able to pass. I was behind with a reasonable distance for a few laps until he made a mistake. After that I was alone for a while, but I missed and came out on the grass several times, losing time. Rainer reached me and passed.

I also had a 360 under braking but reached the finish with a good experience. It was exciting driving; I am very happy to get on the podium. Too bad Seb did not make it to the start. New opportunities for everyone at Beal Valley. An incredible track, see you there.

Thanks all for the race!
