Had a power outage on the circuit the stream server is on.
Then when I got it back up the stream program crashed. So I had to uninstall it and install it again.
By the time I was back up and everything worked again, I was 30 seconds to late to get connected to the game.
I will stream the race now from the replay.

Thanks Andrè!
I had a lot of trouble with my accelerator pedal.
In qualifying, the throttle stuck twice at full throttle (not mechanically but electronically).
In the race it only rarely released fully. I already had that yesterday.
I wonder if the throttle input has been fluctuating for a long time. That could explain why I've had so many inexplicable faults recently. Until now I thought it was because I was getting old.
Well, at least I wasn't the last to arrive this time.
Congratulations Rainer and Podium!

Qual
Manage to be close to my Pre-Qual time so happy with that.
Race
Since I ran in to the problems I mentioned above the minutes and second's before the start was hectic. I was still not in my racing seat with 10 seconds remaining to go on the grid.
The first half of the race was messy, and sorry again to you Bjørn. Totally my mistake as I hit you going in to Becketts. Let you past me again but saw that your car was broken. Sorry!
Settled in and focused on getting in to a rhythm the remaining laps before my pitstop.
Come out of the pits P4 behind Olaf. Manage to get passed both Olaf and John with two clean passes, and with 15 laps to go I found myself 44 seconds behind Rainer. I went for it, but run out of laps.
Very happy with me last stint.
Congratulations to Rainer for a solid drive to take the victory, and to Bjørn for a great recovery to P3.
Have a nice summer. See you all at Goodwood in mid August.
Olaf: Hope you get your throttle problem resolved.

At first it sounded like something was wrong with the gear ratios, but fortunately I must have misunderstood. I unexpectedly got ahead of John who started from position 3. Then there was an even gap in front and behind. It couldn't last long for me, but I was on a one-stop strategy. After a few laps André spun so Rainer and I passed. I continued at a good pace until I began to struggle more and then I was reached.
I caused a wide skid and André slid into me with a small collision. No problem, André, things like this happen. I got on the track quickly, but an imbalance in the car didn't go away. André couldn't know that and politely let me pass. But then I spun in a corner afterwards. From there it was a short way to the pit to repair, change tires and fill up with fuel for the rest of the race. The used tires were more worn than the ones I reached the finish with.
A nice race and finished with a podium which I didn't expect to happen at Silvertone.
Congratulations Rainer for win and André for pos 2
Thanks for the event. Good thing the streaming was saved.
Have a great summer everyone, see you next race

My lack of available practice time caught me out here. It's a track I know well, although Abbey is a corner I will never feel comfortable with. So, I thought I could get up to speed fairly quickly. I wasn't too disappointed with my qualification time but completely messed the start when I forgot to put it in gear , so was late getting off the line, Bjorn took full advantage and Olaf also had a quick look.
I wasn't sure if tyre wear would be a problem so took enough fuel for the full distance and probably would have managed OK until I put a tyre on the grass on the entry onto the Hangar Straight and slid spinning way off track dropping me way off the tail of the pack.
It became apparent that despite no damage my tyre wear was now a lot higher than I had budgeted for at this early stage in the race. Had an enjoyable few laps with Seb, passing him, spinning and then having to do it all over again. Slowly made ground on Olaf's Eagle until he went wide entering the Hangar Straight and I was able to out brake him on his dirty tyres into Stowe.
Half distance came and went with Bjorn dropping back earlier I felt I had a good space both ahead and behind to go into tyre management mode and make it to the end without a stop. Then two mistakes saw me spin once and slide off track then hitting the banking a lap or so later. This pushed the tyres over the edge and also re arranged the suspension making the car undrivable.
So my comfortable 3rd place suddenly became a distant 5th after repairs and tyres. I was making good ground on Olaf with my new tyre for the last few laps but it was a hopeless endeavour to actually catch him.
