Disaster from start to finish for me I'm afraid. Almost missed the race as I'm off on holiday tomorrow so was busy getting ready. Joined about half way through qualifying and found I had no FFB. Logged off and on but still the same, so decided just to trundle around at the back as the car felt really weird.

Eventually got stuck on a bank and couldn't move. Then to add insult to injury I couldn't even get shift-r to work to continue.

So I'll file this one under "Should have gone to the pub instead"

I got a good start and managed to keep a clean track. I was surprised that the gap behind me increased so much. There was close competition behind me. The gap from André increased accordingly and after a few laps he was out of sight, but for me it was a gain to be able to push for so long anyway. For me, no pit stops weren’t necessary. Was as careful as possible but still made a few mistakes and was lucky in one case with a small collision with the fence without damaging the car. Nice challenge to fight against tire wear, but also the tire temperatures in a race like this. Really good driving experience, an extra dimension with the patch, very good. Too bad about John's problems this time.

Zolder is pleasant with a nice rhythm and some exciting passages but also has many pitfalls. Compared to the race two years ago, I think there was more to gain, for example in the turn before the start-finish. Also tested with several chassis and all behaved well. With Braham, many gear changes could be omitted. It had the torque to take advantage of short shifting. With more preparation of the setup, the car became very balanced.

Congratulations to André for a solid win and to Seb for joining us on the podium! :daumenrauf:

Thank you all for the race, see you at Rouen :daumenrauf:
