That was a crazy one!
Had no practice before Qualifying, issues with the stream server, entered the Qualifying with only 20 minutes left to find out that I had no setup stored for this track, started of 6 seconds behind Bjørn with a car that felt like I was driving on ice, made some adjustments and managed to qualify 3, made one last adjustment before the race, and managed to win with over a minute.
With that prerequisite I think this was my best performance this year.
Thank you all for all the racing. And Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Next year I will move back to the BRM team. Hope you all will join me again here at HIES.

Congratulations to André, Björn, and Rainer!
It could have been a podium finish, but then there was another bout of sleepwalking-like lack of concentration...
I would like to thank André for the energy he has invested in this league over the years. Likewise Dag, whose enthusiasm helped bring this league to life.
And I would like to thank all the drivers who gave my dgp a chance and tried it out— especially the five indestructible loyalists who carried this HIES season 2025 to the finish line.
Unfortunately, given the expected low number of participants, I can't motivate myself to another season.
The only way I can think of to attract more participants would be to move the race day to Sunday evening, for example. It seems to me that William Tway is interested in principle. For him as an American, a weekday is probably too inconvenient.
But that would only make sense if the loyal participants from previous seasons were able to attend. Even then, it would only be an experiment, and its usefulness remains questionable...

Congratulations to André for a solid win and to Rainer for joining us on the podium!
Training: With the default setup as a starting point, it still turned out well this time with the usual personal settings. Something challenging is getting the right camber on all wheels. A job to do during the Christmas holidays is to create an accessible routine that can make it more effective.
Prequal: Satisfied with.
Qual: Got started with a few rounds which also went well. Unexpectedly I got pole. Sorry I got in Rainer's way on one of the laps.
Race: Before the flag was lowered it was as if time stood still, got a good start, but of course tough competition further on. André got past at the first opportunity which was turn 6 on the first lap. Further battle with Rainer behind for a few laps but saw in the mirror that Rainer was out in turn 6. A few laps later I did the same in this turn. I got distance behind me and could take it more carefully to reach the finish. A nice and good race on this track which has such a nice rhythm.
The season: Despite the few participants, the races have been great. For me, I may have managed to tame the Brabham, but naturally I still have a lot to learn in general.
Thank you all so much for the good races and especially to André and Olaf with the administration. Thanks also to Dag who started HIES. For next season it is possible to continue, because we do not know how the development will go whether it is up or down. We can consider that later. It turns out that running races with only 5 in the race works well too. No matter what happens, I will continue with the GPL for a long time to come.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Hi Guys,
First of all, congratulations to Andre for the win and Bjorn and Rainer for the podium.
Regarding my race, I've really lost the plot with the setup for the last two races and the car has been just slow...... Back to the drawing board.
On to the season. Remember, it only takes two cars to make a great race. I've spent a lot of the season in close company with all of you at different times and it's been great.
It has been an honour and a pleasure to share the track with you all.
As has been said before, thank you Andre and Olaf for all your hard work this season. I sincerely hope it will not be the last. Andre, I'm in if you are, and any technical or other help I can give you, give me a shout.
And finally, Olaf, I don't think you actually touched me when you spun. Nothing to apologise for. Sorry if I cut you up a couple of times, and I think I was braking a bit early too. Sorry mate.
To everyone, Happy Christmas and Happy New Year!
Looking forward to racing with you all next season.
Cheers all!
Seb.
