Hi All,
Thanks to Olaf for creating my account and Rob F for helping me contact Olaf initially.

As I've now retired and life is a little more settled I'm planning on trying to join a few races this season. Limited practice for this one, so I'll try to keep out of everyone's way.

Is chassis choice still free? (Same chassis for all races). I notice there seems a low number of Brabhams being used, so if no one has any objections I'll drive one of those. :Brabham

I've downloaded dirtgear811 ad it all seems to work as expected.

Nice to be back. :daumenrauf:

Here is a track.ini with wider grids and more space between pitstalls for most participants:

Wellcome back, John :)

Chassis choice is still free, and you use the same for the whole season.

Will was in my pitstall and cost me 10s (and almost the lead), didn't you install the updated track.ini, Will? :deal:

edit: to solve this Olaf pls make a unique DGP that everyone needs to install to join the server. Otherwise we will keep on having these problems. And I have never seen it before that it was an issue...

Again to explain the track.ini problem:
In pre quali my piboard was displayed 20m before my actual pit. When I tried to make a pit stop, gpl took me out of the race after about 25s, i.e. if I make a double pit stop I end up in the gpl control centre and the race is over.
In Albi, my pit board was also displayed clearly in front of me after joining the track. Fortunately, I didn't need to make a double stop there.

I suspect the frequent occurrence of the problem is related to the disappearance of the track database. People download the track from different sources and sometimes have different track.ini values. With anyone who has different pitstall values than the server, it becomes very dangerous.

The good news is: my modification seems to work. At least it worked for me.
The double occupancy of a stable should not happen with the new version, if everyone drives with the new version or those who drive with the old version use the trackini values used on the server.

After all my tests including the race today (where I decided to use differnt values at my ini to make an hardcore test of the new version of the patch) everything points to the fact that the only safe solution would be if everyone uses the patch.
But of course it would be good to hear what your experience has been and whether you have used the new version or whether there was someone who did not use the track.ini values with the old dg version.
