Qual
A good single qualifying lap.
Race
After a not so good start, Tim passed me almost immediately.
He was too quick for me to folllow. And open up a gap immediately.
Then after some laps he was gone.
I think Bjørn made a mistake early, but from there on in we were quite evenly matched.
Was able to drive without too many errors until lap 16.
All in all happy with just surviving Dundrod.
Congratulations to Bjørn and Tago for joining me on the podium.
See you all at Branch Hatch

Well, I didn't cover myself in glory and i can only apologise for any damage caused to anyone who got caught up in my accident on lap 1. I ran wide, spun and rolled back onto the track in front of anyone unfortunate enough to be following.
Got back to the pits to affect repairs and re joined with only Rainer behind (Who had hit me in the accident and pulled into the pits as I was ready to leave). Seb and Olaf disappeared in the next few laps and I caught Tago who let me past rather more easily than I had any right to expect so found myself in an undeserved 3rd place although Bjorn and Andre were well down the road by that point.
Continued until my scheduled pit stop for tyres with no further drama and even managed to cut into Bjorn's advantage. From this point onward things went from bad to worse and I spun out a lap or so after my pitstop suffering more damage and had to stop again for further repairs and finally spun off again a lap or so after that (At the same spot), and couldn't get back onto the track so decided to call it a day.

Grats André for win and Tago to join the podium! Also, to Rainer for finish the race . Pity four of us had to break the race.
I am very happy; it could not have gone better for me.
The testing was not as easy as the race was. As a favourite track, the other versions of the track and several chassis were also raced, but there was a bit of work with setups because many old times could not be improved without greater effort or at all. For this race, the extended break was beneficial. Was ready for the race but scrapped the setup and started over with the race car. It helped the stability a lot, I think.
My qualifying was good with lap times as expected. I went for no pit stop and it turned out that after the start it was likely that those in front and behind me also did the same. At the beginning the competition was close. Too bad for Tim where went out and I was then at pos 2 behind André further ahead. Accidents behind me created a spread that made it possible to drive evenly.
No stop was not as difficult as I had thought and the response from the car warned early enough to be able to correct when there was too little grip. I very likely avoided tire overheating in this race, otherwise I would have (also) ended up in the bushes.
Thanks to everyone for the race, administration, and programming. See you at Brands Hatch
