Alarm! Sudden chaos on race day.

GEM+ is no longer working. I get the message “Fatal exception error” (in German: "Schwerer Ausnahmefehler").
Restarting the PC does not help.
It seems to me that Windows has raised the security standards overnight.
Since today I can no longer rename files in my gpl folder.
Does anyone have a solution to the problems? Otherwise maybe I cannot participate today.

P.S.: I tried to join via IP. Is the IP written on HIES Website (178.232.217.46) correct?

I can't think what could be going on
As you are in a hurry, a solution could be to try to install GEM+ again in another directory.
After the race you will put things back in place.

From GPL Easy installation guide

GPLSecrets (GEM+, iGOR, GPL Setup Manager)
--> Install GPLSecrets (GEM+, iGOR, GPL Setup Manager): http://gem.autosimsport.net/
You need GEM+ 2.5.32 or higher to run GPL mods!

For GEM+ indexing needs to be activated (Windows default setting), because GEM+ needs to access the GPL player profiles!

Olaf, maybe some erratic sectors on your HD. -try install GEM somewhere else on HD
