2025 Season
Re: 2025 Season
I meant to mention this in my original post...
Great Schedule Andre, nice variation of tracks.
Which versions of Dijon and Salzburg would we use?
Thanks in advance

That I understand, Olaf!Olaf Lehmann wrote: ↑14 Jan 2025, 16:21I didn't think of something yesterday: It exists no dg version with old tire model and variable repair.
And I lack the motivation to bring the two things together.
There are simply too few people interested to make the work worthwhile. And unfortunately there is no prospect that there will be more, especially as I could see that PDLR is now also driving on Thursday evenings.
Therefore, in view of John's thoughts, I would suggest using old tires and normal simple repair as in 2023 in INT mode.
Unfortunately we can't use the old version as there was a small bug regarding INT mode. But we could use a version I just put together with little effort and uploaded to the server.
You can now download this version (813) as usual (see first post in the dirtgear news thread).
P.S.: Andr'e...I forgot...: v813 has different amount of tire wear like in 2024 and in the the years before. So you should run the server in mode INT Short that we have enough tire wear.
I will download the new version and install it on the server

Re: 2025 Season
And let's try this points scale this year:
1. = 18 points.
2. = 15 points.
3. = 13 points.
4. = 11 points.
5. = 9 points.
6. = 7 points.
7. = 6 points.
8. = 5 points.
9. = 4 points.
10. = 3 points.
11. = 2 points.
12. = 1 points.
1. = 18 points.
2. = 15 points.
3. = 13 points.
4. = 11 points.
5. = 9 points.
6. = 7 points.
7. = 6 points.
8. = 5 points.
9. = 4 points.
10. = 3 points.
11. = 2 points.
12. = 1 points.
Re: 2025 Season
I'm considering my chassis choice for this season. I plan on attending all races if possible but unsure of my finishing chances due to my ongoing foot issues. So I'll probably grab one of the least represented cars to add more variety to the grid.
I guess (Hope) Seb will return in his trusty Lotus, I live in hope that Tago will reconsider... Andre Cooper? Rainer ?? I see Olaf is going with the Eagle. Are the times on the pre qualy server representative of what people expect to drive? I see Bjorn has times posted in both the Brabham and Ferrari so was wondering if he has decided on his final choice?
I live in hope that the less familiar names on the server will join us for some races, so as far as I can see (Dependent on Rainer's choice). I'm looking at Ferrari or Brabham (Depending on Bjorn's final choice) or the BRM. I'd rather not drive the BRM, I really struggle with it. So I'll run some laps with the Brabham and Ferrari and wait on Bjorn's confirmation of his choice and plan to drive the other one. But if the BRM becomes the only chassis not represented I'll take it

Re: 2025 Season
Hi,
I also not to excited about driving the BRM, so I will go back to the Cooper this year. And to me, it's not that important that the BRM is represented on the grid.
My recommendation would be to either go for the Brabham or the Ferrari

I decide for Eagle because unfortunately Eagle lost his driver.

Re: 2025 Season
I considered the Honda for this season, would have been exciting to try this challenge. Otherwise, I am open to Ferrari or possibly Brabham. If desired, I accept recommendations.
Re: 2025 Season
Hi Guys,
Happy new year!
Sorry I've been AWOL and sorry I missed the last race. On the first point, I'm still pretty down about the situation with Jose and I was hoping he'd reconsider.
With the Glen, I had a school event with my daughter and nearly made it home in time for the end of practice. Nearly, but not quite, you were a couple of laps in by the time I got the live stream up. That looked hard work. Well done Rainer, Andre and Bjoern for the podium!
If you're happy to have me, I'd love to drive the Lotus again? The new season looks great and the points system looks much kinder to us backmarkers , looking forward to getting back in the saddle. See you on track soon
Cheers!
Seb.

Re: 2025 Season
New sheets and opportunities await this year. The season looks promising with v813, and we encourage everyone's participation.
I will likely drive for Brabham unless Ferrari needs drivers. I struggled with the Honda during Kyalami testing but will keep it for later.
See you on track.
