Re: UNOFFICIAL RESULT Challenge Nürburgring 2017
Glück, Luck, that's what I had this time and plenty of it
Good start, I was heading second into T1 but I was shot from the track. It wasn't still that bad but then some Ferrari (Fabian's) was warped into me when we were cornering side by side. Race over? Not yet, I was quite pissed off and it was difficult to calm down. On second lap I was slowly closing in to David and he kindly let me pass immediately . Thank you very much . Was it because you saw me crashed?
At this moment I hoped I will start pursuit of Yannick, I set my race fastest lap on lap 4, but he was by several second faster
I made then many mistakes, I gave up the podium and I was rather defending my position from David and Carsten. Later (with some luck again) I found my pace again but 3 laps before the finish my engine started smoking
A quick repair and suprisingly David was not much faster against my even-heavier BRM, he caught me on the last lap, but made a mistake somewhere. I was so happy for 4th place but in the last sector I noticed Yannick No idea what was going on, damaged car? out of fuel? But he was still fast until the corner before Döttinger Höhe, where he was accelerating very slowly. Incredibly, I took the podium one km before the finish
I was driving much worse than last year, but maybe my luckiest race, I wish I were so lucky in my life too

Yes, I gave you room, so you could get something good out of this race. In the last laps I found my rhythm and tried hard to stay close to you.Radek Petera wrote:Was it because you saw me crashed?
I enjoyed this race, especially the last 2 laps, chasing Radek as fast as I could.
