Re: RESULT LANGE RINGNACHT GRAND PRIX 2017
Hi RINGRACERs,
THX for your warm welcome. Nice to meet you again, the most well known and a warm welcome from me to all far away racers from out of Europe – great to see the international stars from Brasil, Mexico, New Zealand and USA!
After staying two days in bed with a virus infection I thought the RINGNIGHT would be the best medicine
But after some laps I recognized that 40Cº fever are not what a race doctor would have accept for good reason and to race after two year pause of 67 cars on a totally new GPL installation …
Doesn‘t matter – I had fun (not only one collision – hate shift-R races) even when I didn‘t find my speed and flow and believe me the medicine worked, I am healthy again
Because of the fun with the kings mod of GPL again and I didn‘t have time for a championship engagement, I will have time for some fun races with you in 2018 here in the EOLC and perhaps some Full-GPs in the GeLi.
GRATS to all winners expacially Alien Carsten and Kelvin and Jörg
and BIG THX to you David for your perfect organization
That is something similar what I want do in 2018 with the GPL-Racer during the summer break, because of GPLs 20th birthday – date of release was the 31 October 1998 Hope other Leagues had good ideas too!
GPL-Racers plan a special event cold MASTER OF MODS with 10 races on two following days which would be opened and finished with the 67 cars following all mods in order of their releases!
Sorry but I could not expose more yet.
I wish you all a happy new year and like to meet you at next years RINGNIGHT again

Re: RESULT LANGE RINGNACHT GRAND PRIX 2017
Congrats Carsten, Kelvin, and Joerg! The Iron men. I'm glad Carsten won. He tried to give me a win last year.
I think fatigue got me this time. I didn't try to push the car so hard this time. I was sloppier this year. I spun 4 times and hit the hedges once. I hit the guard rail at the Schikane on my last spin.
Thanks guys. It was fun.

Re: RESULT LANGE RINGNACHT GRAND PRIX 2017
Hi racers,
grats to the winners and thanks to everyone, especially to David, who's the real master of the evening!
Unfortunately personal circumstances prevent me from racing on a regular basis. Hence, the long night of the ring is my highlight of the year.
I'm once more impressed by still meeting so many people from all over the globe (and beyond, of course ), who share the same special obsession and who are driving on this high-class level!
I wish you all a happy new year!
